The Karate Kid.........will never say 'never'!!!

'I will never say neveeerrrr.........' This music is still buzzing on my mind.
Today I watched this amazing movie 'The Karate Kid'. An awesome-inspiring movie which do makes me sing 'Never say never'.
So in order to pay catharsis in,yes quite positive way, my this very blog is to that daring kid. Plot superb, story superb.....and whatever be the other technical terms......all superb. I am all over this movie and would recommend each and everybody to watch it once.

Determination, perseverence, calmness, stillness......evrything made its proper effect in that kid's personality which he embraces very well. And that is like when Mr. Han (Jackie Chan) says 'Your focus needs more focus'! You don't only need that rage or anger but a little bit of intelligence is also required to drift your enrgy into right direction. 'Best fights are the ones we avoid'!!! :P The most powerful line in the movie as per me was the one said by Jackie Chan 'Life will knock us down, but we can choose whether or not to stand back up.' Another one 'When fighting angry, blind men, best to stay out of the way'!!!

A whole lot of inspiration and motivation I drew out while watching the movie. It was amazing seeing that kid fighting for his self-respect, fighting till the end to prove himself. Simply awesome with a real vengeance!!!

'coz he is 'The Master Blaster'!!!

The Master Blaster....The Little Champion....The God of Cricket......and what not! And this bloke really fits into these titles. No doubt in that. Yes, this is Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar I'm talking about.

With all the ascendancy ever, he has been kinda ruling the cricket world. Making his start as a trainee in MRF Pace Foundation as a fast bowler, he has come a long way. And as they say in India---"If cricket is religion, then Sachin is God." Trying writing all the praise things on my level about him (when I know I would definitely run short of words) would be a big blasphemy on my part. Ohhh.....but I do wanna write 'He is the greatest'! :)
But as I read this finest article about him, I couldn't stop myself from sharing it.

"When Sachin Tendulkar travelled to Pakistan to face one of the finest bowling attacks ever assembled in cricket, Michael Schumacher was yet to race a F1 car, Lance Armstrong had never been to the Tour de France, Diego Maradona was still the caption of a world champion Argentina team, Pete Sampras had never won a Grand Slam.
When Tendulkar embarked on a glorious career taming Imran and company, Roger Federer was a name unheard of, Lionel Messi was in his nappies, Usain Bolt was an unknown kid in the Jamaican backwaters. The Berlin Wall was still intact, USSR was one big, big country, Dr. Manmohan Singh was yet to 'open' the Nehruvian economy.
It seems while Time was having his toll on every individual on the face of the planet, he excused one man. Time stands frozen in front of Sachin Tendulkar. We have had champions, we have had legends, but we have never had another Sachin T endulkar and we never will." :)

Hope you enjoyed this as much as I did!

Getting started...

Heya...
Through this blog, I am getting myself started as a new entrant in the blogging world. Blogging has always been my interest. Though I never gave it a real thought. But as now I find myself quite alone, so I can give word to my thoughts. And yes I just got to know that you don't need to be a writer or something to have your blog post! :D So Ta-daaaa! Here I go! :P

Love,
G
